What i did was find a hotel from trivago, then after seeing what i like, i go straight to the hotel's website just to compare price again. And hey~PlayHaus Thonglor Bangkok was having an earlybird 69% discount, so what was i waiting for right?
Budget
Airport transfer to PlayHaus Thonglor -------> THB 300
Non-Smoking Room, King Bed, High Floor #Mini King *2 room ------>Total: THB 2,852.00 Per Night.
The bed is as comfortable as any 5 star hotel, which is a great deal :)
Reviews i read talks about the weird smell from the wet toilet curtains, i think that was sorted out, and how small the room is, which i absolutely do not mind. Technically speaking i need the room to sleep well because i wont be in the hotel most of the time :)
They do provide toiletries such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, shower and shampoo, basic vanity kit and a small hair dryer.
I would definitely recommend people to stay here. The customer service is real efficient as well, just when i was having problems with wifi, immediately the receptionist was on it. They are friendly as always (My concept of most Thai people) , the place is clean. and 7 11 is just 1 minute walk away from the hotel. And cafe, street food and restaurants are just around the corner.
I would rate this 10/10
PS: print out a map if you can because the taxi driver was not sure, if not make sure you are roaming so that you can call the hotel if the taxi man need directions.
